Nicolas Zevchek is currently serving as the Graduate Assistant of Tuba at the University of Akron, in Akron OH, where he studies with Tucker Jolly. He is completing his Master of Music in Tuba Performance and already holds a Bachelor of Music from Kent State University, studying with John Bottomley. Nicolas is an active performer, teacher, and arranger.

Benjamin Yates

Benjamin Yates is currently completing graduate work in trombone performance at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He received degrees from Luther College in trombone performance and music education. Previously Yates taught elementary and secondary band in Iowa. He has taught master classes throughout the United States, Brazil, and Japan. Yates performs on bass and tenor trombone regularly with orchestras and bands in Illinois and Iowa. He is a student of Elliot Chasanov (University of Illinois) and Michael K. Smith (Luther College). He is a member of the International Trombone Association, Music Educators National Conference, Iowa Bandmaster Association, and the High School Music Educators Association.

Douglas M. Olenik

Douglas Olenik is a musician originally from Creston, Ohio. Douglas has received his Master’s in Music at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studying from Mr. Mark Moore; and a Bachelor's in Music Education from Youngstown State University, where he studied under Dr. Brian Kiser and Mr. John Turk. He has performed with many different orchestras, bands, brass quintets, and various other settings.
